Soulful Los-Angeles based songstress and producer DYLLAN interplays edgy melodies, rich textures and intimate storytelling to create music that invites the listener into a world of unapologetic sensitivity and emotion. Influenced by producers such as James Blake and Christine and the Queens, her sound blends trap beats, electric guitars and pop production.

Walk Sideways is a song about struggling to communicate your own heart’s desire in a relationship.”

DYLLAN wrote the song in 2015 when she was living in Brooklyn. Throughout her life, DYLLAN has struggled with shyness, anxiety, and the ability to speak up. Four years later, DYLLAN is ready to release the unique expression of her feelings in a relationship with the debut of “Walk Sideways”.

DYLLAN uses her silvery tones to create a sorrowful mixture of experimental live and electronic instruments, with ear-worming repetitive hooks, entangling the listener within the capturing message in a bottle of ‘Walk Sideways’.

With her soft and silvery voice, mellow-yet-passionate compositions, and poetic and intimate lyrics...LA singer-songwriter DYLLAN has the potential to conquer many hearts.

...Kendrick Lamar is not an easy act to cover, and he also happens to be one of my favourite artists of the past decade or so. Luckily for everyone, this cover is immaculate. DYLLAN serves up the perfect homage to the original track, with smooth vocal lines and flawless delivery of complex bars. DYLLAN is clearly a talent with the confidence and audacity to take on a track like this. And it’s paid off – in my eyes at least. This interpretation has a life all of its own and deserves your undivided attention.
